Is a microchipping going to hurt my pet?

There are more and more pets have be microchipped, such as dogs in England must be microchipped from 2016.As owners, we are more concerned with whether it will hurt our pets?

A microchip provided by Cybortra technology is a small electronic transponder, which is the size of a grain of rice,it meets ISO11784/11785 FDX-B standard. The microchip is coded with a unique number that can be read by a scanner that energises the microchip using a radio signal.

Usually the pet was microchipped with 134.2kHz 2.1mm * 12.2mm microchip,it looks a little big,and now we provide a smaller microchip with 134.2kHz size of 1.4mm * 8mm.It will be more suitable for pets with the smaller bioglass and smaller needle.

Microchipping just feels like a small pinch or mild sting – akin to a minor injection. The dog does not feel the chip at all after it has been inserted.
Once the microchip has been inserted, the dog's body tissue surrounding the microchip attaches itself, preventing movement of the chip
